The Material

Warm Color Within Quartz

Citrine is the transparent yellow to brownish-orange variety of quartz. Its warm color is related to iron within the crystal, and naturally occurring citrine is comparatively uncommon.

This strand does not read as a perfectly uniform yellow. Clearer areas sit beside fine internal fractures and inclusions that catch and redirect light, creating deeper flashes of gold within some beads while others remain softer and more transparent.
