The Fool’s Lab began with a simple idea: the things we choose to keep close can carry meaning, even when they cannot promise an outcome.
Crystal has long been chosen both for its material character and for the associations attached to it. We were interested in the space between the two—not certainty, but intention.
02 / Why The Fool
Before the next step.
The name comes from The Fool in tarot: the point at which a journey begins, before the destination is known.
It represents possibility, uncertainty, and the decision to move forward without having every answer first. That idea became the foundation of The Fool’s Lab.
03 / What We Make
Material, with meaning.
We work with natural stone for what it is: color, clarity, texture, variation, and the way each material changes in the light.
Alongside those physical qualities are meanings people have long attached to certain stones—protection, reflection, love, confidence, grounding, and change.
We treat those associations as symbolism rather than promises. The result is jewelry chosen as much for what it means to someone as for the material itself.
